DRT, the responsible chemicals company, is the reference shareholder of Solarezo and the company’s partner in a several projects.
DRT is specialised in pine chemistry and is an independent company employing over 1,300 people. DRT boasts strong growth on international markets, representing 70% of sales. The company strives to apply responsible practices throughout the life cycle of its products. The innovations of its Research and Development Unit are therefore mainly focused on replacing petroleum-based products by solutions deriving from plant chemistry. To minimize its impact on the environment, DRT is involved not only in re-use of by-products, and notably those from the paper industry, but also in a waste and biomass management policy for its production sites.
