Coulisses de fabricationThe stages in module production

From silicon to module

Modules are manufactured with purified silicon. After surface treatment, the wafer is used to produce each cell. These cells then undergo an assembly process and lamination to form the module or photovoltaic panel.

The encapsulation process

  • The cells are encapsulated in a vacuum between two transparent thermoplastic films (EVA)
  • The tempered glass on the front face provides mechanical protection for the cells while allowing the light through
  • The aluminium frame is used for fixing
  • The rear side comprises a Tedlar film
  • A peripheral seal allows expansion

The connections

The connections are all placed together in a water-tight connection box glued onto the back of the module or onto the frame.

Polycrystalline and monocrystalline silicon

Solarezo has opted for polycrystalline and monocrystalline silicon as it offers the highest module efficiency (compared with “thin layer” or “amorphous” cells).
